The Body Mechanics Physiotherapy Clinic

www.thebodymechanics.co.uk

Established by two physiotherapists with a background in Sports Sciene, Bodymechanics at Walton-On-Thames; The River Club; and The City are designed around the biomechanics assessment of movement which forms the basis of how we look at the body.

All physiotherapists at our clinics use the integrated approach to assessment that associates all areas of the body together, allowing us to target the origin of the problem, as well as decreasing the symptoms that you feel.

Bodymechanics has the expertise of specialist Women’s Health Physiotherapists who treat women through all of life’s changes, from teenage years to post-menopause. They are able to evaluate and treat the whole problem through in-depth biomechanical assessment to find the cause and compensations of the underlying weak pelvic floor problem. They specialise in rehabilitation programmes for treatment of pelvic floor pain and dysfunction, abdominal diastisis (tummy gap), incontinence, pre-natal/post partum conditions, pelvic girdle pain and pelvic organ prolapse.

By decreasing pain and improving your performance in daily activities or exercise; they can help to get you on your way to achieving goals for you or your family. An assessment with Bodymechanics will empower you to learn about your body after the changes of pregnancy, labour or menopause, and leave you with the knowledge to improve your health.”
